You’re Serbian but don’t have Serbian Citizenship?

Get Serbian Citizenship, without needing to come to Serbia!

Your relatives or friends have a Serbian passport and can stay in Serbia indefinitely, but you don’t? On this page, we explain how to get Serbian citizenship online!

You respect your Serbian roots and customs, but the state does not recognize you as one of us? Have you ever tried to inquire about how to get citizenship, but the whole procedure seems overly complicated and unclear?

I know what that’s like…

– ʺWhere to start?ʺ – a question you have often asked yourself, because you want to have Serbian citizenship, but dont know how to get it.

Phone calls, emails, but nobody replies. Information that doesn’t give you clear instructions, officials always too busy and are completely without any patience or empathy, to even attempt to help you figure it out.

Maybe you’ve made even more of an effort than the average person, because Zoran’s godfather Dragan, knows a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy, who did it once before years ago. Even then, just when things seem to be going in the right direction, you get the famous response from the Serbian administration “You are missing a document” (Fali Vam još jedan papir).

That one mysterious paper is always an obstacle that cannot be overcome… where do you find it?, who do you call?, what does it look like?, is it a state secret that only a select few know about?

You arrive in Serbia after an international flight of several hours: transfers, controls, waiting for your suitcase on the runway. Fortunately, the line for foreign passports is shorter than for ours.

However, you then see your compatriots preparing to show their Serbian double headed eagle passports. Instead of being with them, you are in the second row with Arabs, Chinese, Indians, Turks, Italians etc. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that!)

…but you just know that it’s not where you belong when you come to SERBIA…the one place you should be part of the majority and not the minority!

As soon as you turn off airplane mode, the phone doesn’t stop ringing with calls from your relatives, as they race to see who you’ll go to for lunch first, because you haven’t seen each other in months/years, everyone gathers and waits for you.

However, you are a foreigner in Serbia…

Your first visit is not your brother, sister, cousin, aunt or even a friend.

You rush straight from the airport to the police station, in order to register and inform the police of your address, because the 24 hour period for foreigners to register is slowly running out and you don’t want to pay a fine.

Since you are already there, you ask how to become a citizen, but “it’s not their department”. Unfortunately you will have to wait for Milan to come back from his holiday in Budva, and Suza is not here until the end of the month either, can’t help you…sorry.

That’s how yet another one of your trips to Serbia passes, without a solution, waiting for something to happen… and nothing ever happens.

So what do you need to do, so something does actually happen?

A young entrepreneur from Sydney, Aleksandar, came up with a service to shorten the otherwise painful path to citizenship for Serbs around the globe.

Using all the experience he gained fighting for his own citizenship for almost two years, overcoming countless obstacles that were thrown at him from officials that were there to “help”, he learned from this and created a unique service that is available online.

Now you can do everything with a few clicks, and someone else finishes that exhausting process for you.

How does it work?

You schedule a quick obligation free call where Aleksandar, along with his legal team, assess your eligibility (If you have any Serbian background, you will very likely be eligible) and come up with the most effective strategy for your specific situation.

We will make a list of everything that is required to successfully submit your Serbian Citizenship application. With just a couple of hours of joint engagement, you have completed your part of the task, and everything else is left to the legal team in Serbia and you are on your way to attaining Serbian Citizenship!

With minimal effort, you will attain Serbian citizenship – you have it for the rest of your life and you join the narrow circle of people who have the privilege of being dual citizens.

Even with such minimal effort from your end, no tests you need to pass, no needing to live in the country for at least 4 years to become eligible, not needing to even come to Serbia!… this investment is still only a fraction of what you would expect to pay to acquire Citizenship from some other countries, (even though they make you “jump through hoops” to even become eligible) e.g. Australia.

What are the benefits of Serbian and dual citizenship?

You acquire another citizenship in addition to the one you were born with. Ok, well everyone knows that.

What they might not know, is that you have the opportunity to choose what you like best from both worlds.

  • You have opened the doors to all of Europe – Serbia is a member of the Schengen zone, which consists of 26 countries, and in each of them, you can stay as a tourist for 90 days without a visa.

In Italy you will eat the most delicious pizza, in Paris you will take pictures next to the Eiffel Tower, and in Vienna you will see the most beautiful castles in the world, and all this is a couple of hours from Serbia.

Once you have visited the marvels of Europe, you can keep going…Japan… China perhaps? Serbia is one of only 8 countries in the world whose citizens can visit China without a visa.

Imagine your limits, or better yet, lack of limits, with 2 passports. One passport from the Western world, one from the East… Mr/Ms Worldwide?

  • Everyone needs a plan B, a backup plan.We live in a world where more than ever, nothing is certain anymore. With global and life circumstances constanly changing, you just dont know where life will be better in 1, 10, 20 years time. The majority of people are unfortunately stuck with what they have and will have to make do with whatever comes their way.If however, you are one of the few privelleged people who is eligible to become a dual citizen and has that option in their lives, to attain Serbian citizenship, without even that much effort… well I think you see where this is going.

Who could have guessed that the whole world would stop for more than a year because of the covid-19 virus?

Thankfully, in Serbia, the lockdown measures were quite mild and movement restrictions were minimal. The unvaccinated were not fired from their jobs in the masses, and in general people did not fear for their future.

If you don’t decide to live in Serbia now, then maybe you will when you retire, as this has become a very common trend with Serbs abroad, mainly due to Serbia being one of Europe’s lowest cost of living countries.

  • You have attained Serbian Citizenship and now your children can too. The simplest way for a child to become a Citizen of Serbia is via their parents Serbian citizenship, thus creating a plan B for them as well and a base in Europe.

  • Your business ideas are achieveable in Serbia.

The company tax rate in Serbia is a FIXED 15% on your companies profits – (does not increase as your profits increase). And for the entrepreneur? For your first year, you are completely exempt from paying any taxes.

Maria Jelesić's story

Maria is of Serbian origin, born in Perth, Australia. No, we didn’t leave the J out of her name and there is no typo. Maria’s mother is Greek, and her father is Yugoslav, born in the territory of today’s North Macedonia. Maria understands and speaks the Serbian language, loves our culture, customs, celebrates her saint day, is married to Milan from the vicinity of Šabac, is a member of the Serbian community in Perth, adores folklore and the feeling of freedom while dancing with compatriots.

Maria knows that she belongs to the Serbian people, but since she does not have a direct ancestor who was born in Serbia, she does not know how to obtain citizenship. She and Milan plan to move to Serbia when they retire – their son Stefan has already moved to Serbia, started a family, and her biggest dream is to live near her grandson Vasilije.

For 4 full years, Maria has been actively trying to get Serbian citizenship – that’s 48 months, 209 weeks, 1461 days, 35064 hours of unsuccessful struggle. She dreams of coffee next to the Sava with our open-hearted people, tours of Vojvodina and carefree walks, gatherings with her relatives, “kajmak” for breakfast instead of Vegemite/Marmite (Or whatever its called on your side of the world) and weekends playing with her grandson as he grows up.

Sometimes dreams need a little help to come true…

By complete chance, Maria heard from her friend Nenad about Aleksandar, who helps Serbs from abroad get citizenship. They got in touch very quickly and started working together on Maria’s application, without her even needing to come to Serbia. In no time her application was submitted by our legal team. She simply followed the instructions provided and with Aleksandar’s 24/7 assistance, collected everything that was required from her end very easily.

She received her Serbian citizenship in less than 3 months, and it is now hers forever.

Sounds too good to be true? … see below

Maria is now in Serbia and can stay as long as she pleases, with no restrictions of any kind.

We even went to pay her a visit and deliver her citizenship papers personally

Who the online citizenship service is not for:

Like with any new service that pops up, people will always have their doubts which is understandable, but let’s have some fun with it! Here are our top 3 favourite arguments against this service that we’ve heard since we started…and if this is you, this service might not be for you..

  • People who believe that we are state mercenaries, whose goal is to steal the votes of the diaspora in the next elections – (honestly never saw this one coming, but we are definitely and completely policitally neutral).
  • For those who think that if you do not speak fluent Serbian or live in Serbia, you don’t deserve Serbian citizenship. Serbian is not an easy language to master… and we are not the grammar police.
  • For those who believe that there is some kind of scam behind everything online. All applications are prepared by and submitted by a lawfirm in Serbia. Also, it is not uncommon for us to actually end up meeting the people we help become citizens, so if you decide to come to Serbia to get your documentation, ćevapi on us!

Who the online Citizenship service is for:

  • For those who don’t waste time on failed attempts and leave it to the professionals.

  • For those who understand how important it is to have a plan B on the other side of the world.

  • For those who want to open new doors, have a clear vision of their future, take advantage of their unique opportunity for dual citizenship and create opportunities for themselves and their families.

Still not sure? … Stevan from Melbourne was and is now a Serbian Citizen.

100% Success rate – Be accepted into Serbian citizenship or recieve a full refund.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

It is important to know that laws are always changing. Even for the period of us offering this service, requirements have changed and we have adapted. However we can never know if or when requirements for Serbian citizenship may change, become far more complex, more expensive or even not possible for certain peoples circumstances (Like in many of Serbia’s neighbouring countries).

For example, Serbs who decide to acquire German citizenship today must renounce their Serbian citizenship. All of them will never have the opportunity that you have, to become dual citizens. But no one can guarantee that the political relations between your country of origin and Serbia will remain unchanged – so invest wisely in your future and schedule an obligation free call while you are still eligible!
